Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of creativitiah.com and the face painting services provided by Creativitiah, operated by Tiah as a sole proprietor based in Berwick, Iowa ("Creativitiah", "we", "us"). By requesting a quote or booking an event you agree to these Terms.

1. Quotes and bookings

Submitting a quote request does not create a confirmed booking. Your event is confirmed only after we reply with written confirmation of the date, location, package and price, and after the deposit (below) is received.

2. Deposit and payment

• A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your event date.
• The remaining balance is due on or before the event date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• All prices are quoted in US dollars (USD).

3. Cancellations and rescheduling

• Cancellations made 7 or more days before the event: you forfeit the 25% deposit; any additional amount paid is refunded in full.
• Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event: 50% of the total quoted price is due.
• You may reschedule once, at no extra charge, if we receive notice at least 7 days before the event and a mutually available date is found within 6 months.
• If we must cancel for reasons within our control, any amounts paid (including deposit) are refunded in full.

4. On-site conditions

• The client agrees to provide a safe, shaded (if outdoors) workspace with a table, two chairs, and reasonable access to the venue.
• We use professional, cosmetic-grade, skin-safe cosmetics designed for use on skin. Guests with sensitive skin, allergies, or open wounds should not have cosmetics applied. Please inform us of allergies in advance.
• Face painting for children under 3 is at the parent/guardian's discretion and may be limited to arm designs.
• We reserve the right to decline face painting anyone showing signs of illness, or to end an event early if a guest, host or artist safety concern arises. In that case the full quoted price remains due.

5. Travel

Base pricing includes travel within a reasonable radius of Berwick, Iowa. Events further afield may include a mileage surcharge, disclosed in your quote before you confirm.

6. Photography and portfolio use

We may photograph completed designs for our portfolio and social media. Photos of minors are only posted with the organizer's permission. You can ask us to remove any image at any time by emailing support@goiast8.com.

7. Website content

All designs, photography and text on this site are © Creativitiah and may not be reused for commercial purposes without written permission. You may share links to the site freely.

8. Liability

Face painting is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the services is limited to the amount you paid for the event in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, USA. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Iowa.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above will always reflect the latest version. The version in effect at the time your booking is confirmed governs that booking.

11. Third-party services

Quote and contact forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to detect and prevent spam and abuse. By submitting a form, you acknowledge that Cloudflare may process technical data such as your browser characteristics and IP address in accordance with its Turnstile Privacy Policy. Turnstile does not require cookies or track you across sites.
